About LILA Greenfield

  • Independent living is designed for active adults 55+ who want to enjoy a maintenance-free lifestyle while maintaining their independence. LILA Greenfield offers apartment-style living with community amenities and social programming—without the responsibilities of home ownership.

  • LILA is specifically for independent seniors who don't need daily assistance with activities of living. You maintain complete independence while enjoying the benefits of community living, planned activities, and freedom from home maintenance.

  • LILA is an age-restricted community for residents 55 and older.

  • LILA Greenfield recently opened and is currently in its lease-up phase. We're excited to be welcoming new residents to our community!

  • LILA Greenfield is part of the Mainstreet Development family of communities. We have additional LILA communities in development throughout Indiana, bringing quality independent living to communities across the state.

  • Absolutely! We'd be happy to connect you with current residents who can share their experiences at LILA Greenfield. Just let us know during your tour and we'll arrange it.

Living at LILA

  • Apartment utilities (water, sewer, trash, and electric) are included in your monthly rent. Your rent also includes building maintenance, lawn care, snow removal, trash service, access to all community amenities (fitness center, community room, activity programming), and common area utilities. You are responsible for any optional services you choose such as pet rent, washer/dryer, internet and cable.

  • Yes! We welcome pets at LILA Greenfield. We allow a maximum of 2 pets per apartment. Monthly pet fees are $25.00 per animal. There is a $300 pet fee deposit. Please contact us for more details on our pet policy, including any size or breed restrictions.

  • Absolutely! Your apartment is your home. You can decorate, arrange furniture, and make it your own space. Any permanent modifications would need approval, but we encourage you to make your apartment feel like home. Please note TV wall mounts and command strips are prohibited.

  • LILA Greenfield offers a full calendar of social activities, fitness classes, educational programs, community events, and organized outings. Our activity programming is designed to keep you engaged, active, and connected with your neighbors.

  • Yes! Our community center is the heart of LILA Greenfield, featuring spaces for activities, events, socializing, and fitness. It's where many of our organized programs take place, but it's also available for residents to use for their own gatherings.

  • Yes! We value resident input and feedback. We encourage residents to share their ideas and suggestions for making LILA Greenfield an even better place to live.

  • Xfinity is our exclusive internet provider and residents can choose their preferred cable provider at renter's expense. We can provide information about local service options during your tour.

  • All apartments are unfurnished, allowing you to bring your own furniture and make your space truly your own. This gives you the flexibility to create the home environment that's perfect for you.

  • Each apartment includes its own in-unit washer and dryer hooks up for your convenience and privacy. You have the option to rent washer and dryer units for $50.00 per month or bring your own washer and dryer.

Practical Information

  • We offer flexible lease terms to meet your needs. Contact our leasing team to discuss current availability and lease options.

  • Yes, parking is available for residents and guests.

  • No, LILA is independent living and does not participate in Medicare or Medicaid programs. However, we do offer affordable, market-rate pricing for our apartments.

  • Of course! Your apartment is your home, and you're welcome to have guests visit anytime. Overnight guests are welcome as well for no more than 14 consecutive days and no more than twice that many days in any one month.

  • You're responsible for your individual apartment utilities (electric, gas, cable/internet if desired). Common area utilities and building maintenance are included in your rent.

  • We offer multiple floor plans to fit your needs. Visit our Floor Plans page for detailed information about square footage and layouts, or contact us for a personalized tour.

  • As part of the application process, we do verify income to ensure you can comfortably afford your monthly rent. Our leasing team can discuss specific requirements during your consultation.

  • While LILA is designed for independent living, we're part of a family of communities that includes assisted living and memory care. If your needs change over time, we can help connect you with appropriate care options within our network.

Health & Safety

  • Your safety is our priority. We have secure entry systems and emergency response protocols in place. Contact us to learn more about our specific security measures.

  • In case of a medical emergency, you should call 911 immediately. While we don't provide medical care at LILA, we're located near healthcare facilities and emergency services for your peace of mind.

  • Yes! LILA Greenfield is designed with senior-friendly features including accessible layouts and thoughtful design elements. Specific accessibility features vary by unit—contact us to discuss your particular needs.

  • Yes, we have comprehensive emergency preparedness procedures in place. All residents receive information about emergency protocols during move-in.

  • Absolutely! We love when residents bring their ideas and interests to our community. Many of our best activities come from resident suggestions and involvement.

  • Yes! We encourage residents to stay connected to the broader Greenfield community through volunteer opportunities and community engagement programs.

  • LILA welcomes active adults 55 and older. Our residents represent a range of ages and backgrounds, creating a diverse and vibrant community.

Moving to LILA

  • We'd love to show you around! You can schedule a tour by calling us, emailing, or filling out our contact form. Tours are available by appointment.

  • After touring LILA Greenfield, you'll complete an application and background check. Once approved, you'll sign your lease and coordinate your move-in date with our team. We're here to make the transition as smooth as possible.

  • Yes! If your preferred floor plan isn't currently available, we can place you on a waitlist and contact you when it becomes available.

  • Bring whatever makes you feel at home! Your apartment is unfurnished, so you'll bring your own furniture, décor, kitchenware, and personal belongings. We'll provide you with a move-in checklist to help you prepare.

  • While we don't provide moving services directly, we're happy to recommend local movers and resources to help with downsizing and transitioning to apartment living.

  • Yes, there is a security deposit required at move-in and they start at $150. Our leasing team can provide you with specific details about deposits and any applicable fees during your consultation. *Fees subject to change

  • Notice requirements are outlined in your lease agreement. Our leasing team can review these terms with you before you sign.
